We exist to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ in our community and around the word.
Owing to the persistent dawn and dusk broadcasts of the message of the cross by the late Reverend Dr. Abraham Keni Nakom within the environs of Sege, in the Ada West District of Ghana, the Gateway Baptist Church was born on 1 September 1990 to the glory of God.
The purpose of this local church is to carry out the great commission of Christ, as given in Mathew 28: 19-20. We also endeavor to edify the saints of God through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God as set forth in the Bible as well as upholding the two ordinances of the New Testament, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
In order to fulfill our core mandate of the great commission, this Church engage in activities and conduct ministries such as worship services, evangelistic street services (film show), prayer meetings, youth activities, Sunday School and a Day School
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it was written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit so that their writings, in the original words were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be. They are the complete and final revelation of the will of God to man, and so are a supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
